The industrial business of Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited, or “FPT”, has unveiled its new project, Frasers Property Last Mile Hub in Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan Province, in partnership with Sahathai Terminal Public Company Limited. Situated on a 31-rai site in the heart of the Pu Chao Saming Phrai industrial zone, Frasers Property Last Mile Hub feature 10 ready-built warehouses and one office building, totalling 21,000 sqm. Each warehouse features both office and storage space, with a floor load capacity of 3 tonnes per sqm and a ceiling height of 10 metres.

The project is strategically located, connected to both Kanchanaphisek Road and the industrial ring road, providing convenient access to Sahathai Terminal just 4 km away, and close to Khlong Toei Port, enabling rapid and seamless product delivery for clients in e-commerce, third-party logistics (3PL), and the last-mile delivery sectors.

Mr. Peerapat Srisukont, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the industrial business of FPT, said, “We are delighted to partner with Sahathai Terminal Public Company Limited to develop Frasers Property Last Mile Hub. Thailand’s e-commerce sector continues to experience steady growth, in turn fuelling the expansion of the logistics sector. We believe that FPT’s extensive proven track record in developing quality industrial and logistics projects, coupled with Frasers Property Last Mile Hub’s unparalleled connectivity to Bangkok's central business district and surrounding provinces make the project an ideal last-mile hub for customers in e-commerce, third-party logistics service providers (3PL), last-mile delivery, as well as retail and consumer goods sectors, helping them to reduce delivery times and costs.”

Krungsri Research forecasts a 2-3% annual growth in road freight transportation from 2024 to 2026. This growth is partly attributed to the projected 15-22% annual expansion of e-commerce, which supports both B2B (Business-to-Business) and B2C (Business-to-Consumer) transportation, as well as the increasing demand for last-mile logistics, delivering goods directly to customers' doorsteps.

"As we expand our capabilities to cater to increased industry demand, we also strive to do so sustainably by ensuring our developments fulfill leading ESG requirements," said Mr. Peerapat.

Frasers Property Last Mile Hub is designed to meet internationally recognised LEED green building standards, prioritising environmental sustainability and occupant well-being. This includes using environmentally-friendly materials, low-VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) materials, materials that reduce heat accumulation within the building, LED lighting, and water-saving sanitary fittings.

"Combined with the advantages of LEED-certified buildings, this project is further enhanced to support leading companies committed to ESG principles. We already have 3PL customers utilising our services. Frasers Property Thailand is confident that this project effectively addresses logistics management needs and enhances the efficiency of delivering goods to consumers quickly," he added.

Frasers Property Last Mile Hub‘s LEED-compliant design will enable the project to reduce energy consumption by 35% and water consumption by 52%. It also aims to promotes green transportation with the installation of EV chargers for electric vehicles within the project.
